    Question Crouching/Standing up animation help!

    So I'm super new to Clickteam Fusion 2.5, and after scouring the forums here I can't seem to find the solution to my problem. I have a player character with a super basic set of movements (press left/right to move, press space to jump, etc.). I wanted to have it so that when you hold the down arrow, he turns into a black puddle and can kinda slide around, then when you release the duck button he pops back into his regular form. So when I hold the down arrow, it plays the animation of him melting into a puddle just fine, and he stays a puddle as long as I'm holding down, but is there a way to have it play the reverse animation (i.e., transforming from puddle to human) when I release the down arrow? Right now, when I release the crouching button, he just switches back to his idle animation without the "standing up" animation. Thanks in advance, I hope this made sense!

    Test for if the animation is currently the puddle animation.
    Test for if the user is not holding the down arrow key (right click and negate it to test the opposite of if user is repeatedly holding down a key).

    If so, then force the animation to the standing up animation.

    your problem is probably due to the system switching to the normal idle or walk because those are driven by the character's current velocity. Like the other reply said, you will have to work around that by forcing animation or coming up with your own way of driving the normal walk and idle animations, and put them in different slots than the idle and walk slots. Or you can just force anim like he said which actually might be simpler.
