Using LIST object to do stuff based on a String in a given line

Okay, I use the LIST object that has two items listed. One line says "CAT" and the other says "DOG". I have 2 JPEGs of a CAT and DOG that are invisible at the start of the frame.

How do i make it so when the user clicks on the word "CAT" from the list, it shows the picture of a cat? When the user clicks on the word "DOG" from the list, it shows the picture of the dog? I want it based off of the STRING and NOT the line number as the order will switch around as more items get added. In other words, how do I code it based on what the user clicks inside the list?

Yeah. I guess I have to use "compare two general variables" and the "enable" condition. I didnt know what those meant or knew the correct syntax in order to use them. Still learning, Thanks.

i didn't know how to do it myself either as i dont use the list object, i just thought i might be able to do it, so just started clicking random things til i got something, guess it's called "click"team fusion for a reason lol. i had no idea either what "enable" did.

still learning myself, u just gotta dive in & go for it...... & enjoy the journey!
