Program has ole32.dll crash out of nowhere

I've had an ongoing software built in MMF2.5 and Install Creator Pro. It's worked fine with incremental changes ongoiny over the past few years.

I just did a new build with very minor changes. The changes I made were to a few frames, adding a couple Active objects. Nothing huge.

Now the program is crashing because of a ole32.dll error.

This software is used in a handful of schools and I'm in a major pinch right now. If anyone has a clue as to what's going on or how to approach it, I'd appreciate the help!

I'm not sure what triggered it... I cannot reproduce it.

I don't use Install Maker Pro btw, so hopefully you can scratch that variable off your list. Do you use any particular extensions?

I also did a little googling on what ole32.dll is for...

The Ole32.dll is a crucial element of your operating system. The file is a part of the object linking and embedding technology, or OLE, which allows users to embed files and create hyperlinks within programs. If the Ole32.dll is damaged or erased, you will not be able to create links or insert pictures into any documents on your computer.
Edit: Are you also on the latest beta version?

You might want to report it to the bugbox. Just in case.. Seems like you both might be using 290.1

Has this continued? I assumed it was go e but it's reared its head again. Tonight I'll update the bugbox post.

Im wondering if recent Windows updates caused this.
