Found game I made as a kid, unable to play it

    Hello all

Back in 2011, I went to a summer camp (iD Tech computer camp) and me and a few other kids made games using Multimedia Fusion. I recently found the mfa file containing my game. Somehow, I never ended up with an exe version of the game, so I'm unable to play it. I downloaded the free version of Fusion 2.5 hoping to convert my game to exe or at least get to play it once, but it isn't an available feature in the demo.

Admittedly, it's just a dumb game I made when I was 9, but it means a lot to me. I can't afford to buy the full version of fusion 2.5 just to convert this to an exe file, and I'm not asking for a free version of it. I don't plan on making any games in the future, so owning fusion would be kind of a waste on me. Overall, I just want an exe file (or some way to play this) of this dumb game. It would mean the world to me if I had a playable copy.

I would attach the mfa file but it exceeds the forum's 1 MB max of this file type. (It's 7.42 MB)

You might be able to run the game by pressing F8 (run application) in Fusion 2.5 demo, but I've not used the demo so can't say. I would be happy to help make you an .exe. Hopefully you can send me it via e-mail (see my private message) or Google Drive. If you ever feel like getting back into game making then please consider Fusion as an option.

One of my games made in MMF2 from 2010 (IIRC) doesn't work properly on a Windows 10 machine. I used active pictures for collision detectors and they don't register anymore.

https://www.clickteam.com/download-centre/mmf2dev Try MMF 2.0 or TGF 2. save a copy, see if you can open it. then save it inside 2.0. Then open THAT one with Fusion 2.5.

If it is older than that, try and see if you can find MMF 1.0, open a copy in it, save it. Then open the 1.0 copy in 2.0, then repeat the process up to 2.5.

You may have to run the older apps in 16bit compatibility, or use a Virtual Box virtual machine for Win XP or 2000, then run MMF 1 or even Klik N Play to save upwards.
