Talking Speeder Challenge - Game jam entry

    Howdy!

I made an entry for the "Fusion Wars" game jam recently, and posted it on itch.io. The whole theme of the jam was "science fiction fantasy", so I made this Star Wars and Mode 7 inspired pseudo 3D racing game

The controls and gameplay are simplistic, as I made the whole thing in less than a week. The feedback has been fairly positive towards the entry.

Go play the game at itch.io:

The jump effect is really cool, and the pallet gives it a nice 80s feel

A thing that would make a huge difference is to have the shadow separate to the speeder as it kills the effect a little when you jump and the shadow does too.

Impressive though and with some polish it could be awesome!

Ah yes, that's true! Didn't even think of that That improvement can be easily added. I supposed it's okay for me to update the game once the jam has closed? Otherwise there might be some confusion with the right version.
