    File object with Listbox

I noticed that with the Listbox I cannot have a Horizontal Scrollbar, only a vertical one.. Which makes it hard for me to see the files in a folder.

I am filling up a list box with getCurrentBrowsedPath$( "File-Folder object" ) to show all the files in a folder.
How can I make it show just the filenames in the folder without the path?

    Hey Perry,

the list object already has a builtin file-loading feature,
you can find it under "files - load Filelist"
then you can enter the path and the extension you need to scan for:

    i.e.
    Apppath$ + "mydirectory\" + "*.myextension"

Alternatively, with the File-folder object you are using now,
you could do some string trickery like this:

    Right$(getCurrentBrowsedPath$( "File-Folder object" ), Len(getCurrentBrowsedPath$( "File-Folder object" )) - ReverseFind(getCurrentBrowsedPath$( "File-Folder object" ), "\", Len(getCurrentBrowsedPath$( "File-Folder object" ))) - 1)

(try copypasting in the expression editor, should do..)
