    ​Alpha 2.5 released.

    Lots of changes. See dev log​​​ for full updates but highlights are:

    • New weapon: Rapid P, short range super fast rifle. Forces you in close and moving around. Great fun!
    • TUTORIAL! Learn how to play the game properly.
    • Added Schrodingers box. This allows you to randomize different values in the game for new challenges (e.g. enemy health, your damage etc.)
    • New upgrades (Shield & Bullet Split)
    • New enemy skin(s).
    • Enemies now slow down correctly
    • You now turn into a baby
    • A bunch of different tweaks and improvements, check dev log.

    You have added some cool new weapons and effects that will definitely make the game feel more intense and allows players to get creative within the game (which is very important!).

    Thank you Robeez! Yes that's my focus right now, adding content that changes how the basic systems work hopefully giving a fun run everytime. Thank you for feedback!

    Introducing Zone defense mode. Instead of pure elimination you have to take control of 3 zones, of course it will alert people in the vicinity and new enemies will spawn in a cloud of meth smoke. More objective types coming, Warframe is a big inspiration on how to add variation to a simple game loop.

    This a debug room that got hectic really quickly..

    You can now afflict status effects on enemies, you buy these as a permaupgrade between runs.

    Implemented a new game mode today, which brings the amount of modes up to three.
    They get picked at random in every map and have different objectives. The one map that doesnt get changed is the boss wave in every third turn.

    These are the modes:
    Elimination


    The most straight forward one. Eliminate all enemies to get an upgrade and move on.

    Zone Defense


    3 zones spawn at random locations in the generated map, you job is to take over them by holding each for 5 seconds while enemies start to attack and spawn.

    Safe Invasion


    the newest mode, a safe spawns in a random location and the enemies hold the keys to it. You have to find all three by eliminating enemies and then shoot it open. Once you do that you get a baby and an upgrade.

    That's all for now, i have more ideas but i think this is enough for launch and adds a nice amount of variation to the game. New alpha in 12 days for anyone interested.

    Don't know if anyone follows this thread but I'm polishing and adding final features. Got a new art piece and made it into a menu. Added some slight animations to add some depth.
