    Any way to see the "tension" in the rope object?

    Hi all,

    I'm wondering if there's any way to see how much "tension" or stress a physics rope object is under. I'm hoping to make the rope snap (cut the rope) once there's a certain amount of tension in it.

    The rope is attached to two objects which can move about freely. My current solution using two events is;

    ALWAYS
    Set Alterable Value A to (distance between first element and last element)

    IF Alterable Value A > (length of the rope, + some leeway)
    THEN Cut the rope
    This kind of works, but long/thin backdrops can still 'intersect' the rope without it breaking. Is there anything built in that lets you see how much force is along the rope?

    Cheers

    I think I've (sort of) found a solution to my own problem - I've set it up so Alterable Value A through to Alterable Value J each store the distance between each individual element (from Element0 to Element 10). Whenever any of these alterable values is greater than a certain number, it cuts the rope at that particular element.
