    Question How do you individually set alterable values?

    I'm trying to make a game that uses one object for all players by changing their alterable values at the start and then using that to tell which player they are. However, with the way I have it set up, it changes the alterable value for all of the players. I have it set up like this:
    • Start of frame:
    • Create "Player 2D" at (80,112) layer 4
    • Player 2D: Set "Player" to 1
    • Create "Player 2D" at (560,112) layer 4
    • Player 2D: Set "Player" to 2

    Does anyone know how I could separate them?

    that order should work... but you can just do it in 2 lines which would also work; start of frame? create - set etc; repeat on next line.

    create them on two separate events
    e.g. make two start of frame events

    fnkycoldmadeanr's solution is the best.

    Create 4 players (either in the frame or do 4 CreateObject->Player actions in the same event).

    Then do
    RunEventOnce:
    Player->AlterableValues->SpreadValue->Spread Value 0 in AlterableValueA.

    That'll put an increasing number in Alt Value A, starting at 0 and counting up.
