Question Transferring list data to other frames

    Hello,

I was wondering if it's possible to transfer a list object data to other frames, or at least make it global. I was thinking about using global values/strings, but I thought it'll be impractical since I'll be inputting tons of data on the list.

There are tons of ways to go about this.
Here are some of your options:
You could save the content of the list to a file, and load it in another frame. This is probably your best option.
You could copy the content of the list to an array which is global to the application, and copy the the content back to a list in another frame.
You could copy the content of the list to a global string, using a delimiter (such as ';', or '|') between each line, and use the string tokenizer to copy the content back to a list in another frame.

I would definitely recommend saving the list as an external file and then loading it back in in a Start of Frame event. You can load the list file in under Global Events to make sure the list always loads no matter what frame you're on.
