    I've created an open bug report here. @Yves : I'll PM you in a minute with a link to the needed project files and some notes on how to reproduce the crashes. Problem is, they're not happening constantly, rather rare. Mabe the file from Outcast would do better for narrowing it down.

    Thanks! You're right it seems the problem comes from the optimization that was done at start of frame, although the fix seemed simple... I'll check tomorrow what happens and I'll post a new update.

    I've just posted the build 291.5 in the Product Owner's Lounge. Beta version again but hopefully final release version of the build 291.

    No issues with 291.5 so far, did some stress tests, seems you fixed it

    OK, thank you for testing and sorry for the bug. The build 291.5 is now the official version.

    Never mind, IMO it's impossible to be 100% sure with those runtime optimizations before you test with some heavy projects. Thanks a lot for the quick fix

    This crash issue that was resolved - is it likely to happen at random in any game or just under certain conditions like having a lot of objects - and then what defines a lot of objects?

    I released a game yesterday on version 291.4 which I tested for at least 12 hours - 6 hours Windows PC / 6 hours Android and didn't have a problem - so I'm wondering now if I should release an update on version 291.5 asap because this crash could potentially happen or if I'm okay?

    (I'd rather not spend the next 2 days retesting the game on version 291.5... )

    It's in the Windows runtime only, no problem on the other platforms.

    The crash depends on the number of objects involved in "object collides with background" conditions. It corrupts the memory if more than 250 objects are involved in all those conditions. Note: each qualifier counts for N objects, N being the number of objects that have this qualifier. If you've tested your game during 6 hours on Windows and didn't notice anything, then probably you aren't concerned by the problem.

    Thank you for the explanation. I was worried that the results would be different on a slower computer than the one I tested on, but I'm not using collisions in this game at all.
