So I am trying to make a batch file which will run two external programs with several arguments.
It is pretty simple
START <program 1 then arguments>
<program 2 and arguments>
It works when I hand type it and run it.
Now I set up some drop downs which change the argument (option 1,2,3 for example). Because it is in parts, I have it set to go:
Append text <START program 1 and then first part of program 2 and the arguments then a space before the next argument> <The name of the character chosen from a dropdown, which is an argument for the application>
<a space to separate the argument then the rest of the arguments>
When I look at the code myself it looks perfect, identical to if I were to type it by hand.
When I run it, the command line fails and closes. I ran the bat file in the cmd and it gave me this: " '■S' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file."
If I delete all the text and rewrite it in notepad by hand it still gives the error. If I copy and paste the exact text into a NEW bat file it will run just fine, launched by the game or by the a normal click.
Is Fusion writing the file with some weird character that is messing with the file? Can I have it...not do that?
