    Angry Runtime.js was not found

    Hi there,

As a longrunning fan and user of Multimedia Fusion I made a tutorialseries in the free version (in Dutch), hoping to make Multimedia Fusion more known and used in the Netherlands.
I've made 26 lessens and the final lessen is supposed to be about the exporting to HTML5, but that doesn't work!

When I try to build (in both cases: All or Application) I get this:

    Runtime.js was not found

Can anyone help me out here?

You have to upload all of your files to a hosting service (like for your website), and make sure you have the directory/folder structure the way it should be. That file I think, needs to be in the root? (sorry can not look it up right now not near my PC.).

Edit (logged into my website for old demos):

root > folder named "src" > "Runtime.js" goes there.

    Your root folder should have
    resources folder
    src folder
nameofyourgame.html file all by itself (unless you have more things for your website there.)

Then, the resources folder will have your assets for the game. .png files, cc1, cch, etc.

    src folder will have Runtime.js

    Sample of it working:

Please note this was done with a full version of Fusion w/HTML5 exporter.

    Hello Shadoe,

Thanks for taking the time to look at this problem.
Unfortunately my problem is not in the uploading of the files. My problem starts before that!

The problem starts at the moment I start the build. The program doesn't get to the actually exporting of the files that I should upload.
Within MMF I choose: File / Build / All

For a few moments MMF seems to working on the export and I even see the green progress bar filling up, but then a pop-up appears:

    Runtime.js was not found

    Frustrating!

    UPDATE:

I use Multimedia Fusion on a Mac, with Windows 10 installed via Parallels.
Everything in Fusion works, except the building.

Now I have installed Free Fusion on a Windows PC, loaded my program and then the building worked like a charm!

    ANOTHER UPDATE:

Weird, but worth mentioning, I think.
When I tried building again, from my Mac, into the folder I previously exported on the PC, it WORKED!!!
So creating a new build failed, but overwriting a build was a succes!
Computers never cease to amaze me! ;-)
