Hello. Im making a grappling mechanic for my game. Once you grapple to a grapple point you can swing back and forth. Ive set it up using the satellite method with some fairly simple trigonometry. My problem is that once the player is grappling i can only get the chain link objects that he swings from to tether nicely to either him or the grapple point. It doesnt seem to tether to both points smoothly. Ive made an example mfa. Move left and right with A and D. Jump with Shift. Swing sword with /. Hit the red grapple point with the sword and you will see my problem. The player rotates around the grapple point and i have the chain links tethered to the player but they dont tether correctly to the grapple point. Any help with this would be extremely appreciated. Ive been trying so many things to fix this but no luck yet. Its the last mechanic for my game. I really want to move forward. Thank you.
