Question Need Ideias How to recover Life per time

    Hey Community,
I´m having issues of how to make the player recover his health bar over time, for example if he recovers 5 HP per minute, it would take him 20 minutes to fill up the 100 HP bar, but i want for him to be able to recover health even with app closed, for example the next day he enters the app with full health!
how can i manage to do something similar?

Other then using a server to send receive data.. you could have a system where it checks the current user's date and time and saves it to an ini/array, and then compares it with the time they were active, and do a calculation that way? I've never done anything like so I don't have an example but it seems that it could work!

maybe by writing playtime. I think only possible way whithout game-server is:
    1. If player exited game - write current time
    2. If player started game again - compare last played time and current time
    3. If writed time different or greater than last time - restore >your hp recover math * last played time<

The INI object stated by anatol above works very well in this case. Like he said, just write to the INI the current of life anytime the person loses his life along with the timestamp and subsequently when loading stage / game / level, read from the INI and do your calculations on how long has it passed and if the user is entitled to additional life and write back to the INI ont he new life value.
