    check neighbors for similarity

    Is there any chance to check neighboring objects for similarity of parameters (ID for example)
    Like in 3-match game. Look left or right for similar object, then remove them and so on.

    I know that there are special objects for this like AGBO. But I would like to know how to write an algorithm from scratch.

    There's probably a super smart way of doing this but a way would be to use a separate object as a detector. After every move of your object (or whatever trigger you want to use) do a fast loop that places the detector to the left, trigger a nested loop to move it up, then right then down. In every loop then do an overlap check and delete.
