    Can one override Automatic Rotations?

If you tick the block on an Active Object: Automatic Rotations Enabled - then at any point that the object is facing left it is going to be upside down.

Is there any way I can have the object use automatic rotations except when facing left?

I've tried to manually override it by changing the direction when facing left but it doesn't trigger (or perhaps it triggers but then is immediately replaced by the automatic rotation).

You can work around is by creating a second animation where all frames are flipped vertically. If the rotation angle of your object is between 90 to 270░ change the animation sequence to the flipped sequence. This way you can keep automatic rotation without the upside-down effect between 90 and 270░. Another option would be to apply a flip-shader, especially if your animations are very complex.

Thanks for the ideas Julian82. The upside down sequence didn't work - Fusion flip-flopped the animations every few seconds.

(My animations / graphics are very basic - they're 2D cartoons - but there's a lot of them on screen at the same time moving around.)

I'll just turn off automatic rotations and do manual animations instead.
