Question How to approach this? Increase Speed of "Path Movement" on click

I am trying to create a "level select screen" where the player clicks on a level and the character would move to that selected level. The thing is I want the character to move faster if a click is held down and here is where everything breaks apart! I have included a MFA and video.
    MFA: Level_Select.mfa

I am open for any other solutions does not have to be "Path movement" as long as it works on Android and iOS

I have tried it and it works fine here.
When you just click the object moves at speed 50.
When you hold the mouse down it moves at speed 100.
The pathing does get screwed up a bit....but apart from that the movement works just fine.

    Sorry for offtopic

I created some "custom engine" for this situation )) Sorry for the messy comments in the project file.
    Hope this would help

You could easily just spread value 1 in ID of original object point, and remove the extra point objects on the list.
(There's no need for point 1 point 2 point 3 etc.)
