Question Best way to randomize in areas?

I wonder what is the best and easiest method to randomzie things in areas? Say for example you have a sky and you want to randomly create 10 clouds in the sky, but you want to avoid all the created clouds to clump together and instead be somewhat evenly spawned acrossed the whole sky, but still in a random fashion each time.

The easiest way I can think of off the top of my head:

This creates a cloud every 90 pixels across (7 times) and 69 pixels down (7 times), but then also makes it so each cloud is moved within a +16 or -16 range using a fast loop. Nothing fancy, but you could make it a bit nicer by only running the second part of the loop every 1/2 times or something like that, or picking a random cloud to make instead of just the same image.

Here's how it looks each time you run it:

    And an example file:
    randomClouds.mfa
