    Touches not registered at bottom region of the screen

    Hi!

    I am working on a game where I need to register touches at the whole screen.
    The problem is that touches fails to register properly in the bottom region of the screen (bottom 5%)
    I believe this has something to do with the control centers gesture recognizer.

    Anyone else have experienced this? Any solution for a workaround would be highly appreciated

    Yes there was a fix in the bug tracker, just copy the folder "Classes" of this zip in your game folder (on your mac).

    IOS EXPORTER GESTURE FIX.zip

    self.window.gestureRecognizers[i].delaysTouchesBegan = false;

    is not recommended by Apple iOS

    It is not my fix, but it works like a charm with the iOS version of my game.

    yes but you may have unexpected behaviors as mention during building, didn't you get a message from compiler during building?

    I get multiple warning but no error.

    is a warning message since it may happens during runtime, not crash, only not correct behavior, false detection, etc.

    I get some crash on iOS yes, or big freezes for 4 seconds. But what is the solution then? Actually the iOS exporter isn't working fine with the touch object, we can't make fully working games.

    @Dobermann @Aasland i fixed it by pasting in this piece of code in xcode at the bottom of my "MainViewController.m" file.

    you find the "MainViewController.m" in xcode path Classes/Application/UI

    then just paste this code below right at the bottom of the file one line above the "@end" final line.

    return UIRectEdgeAll;
    }


    ----
    and that should disable all the annoying touch delays in your game
