Question Help building game into .apk file

Hello! I have attempted to build my game into a .apk file. Clickteam said I needed first to download and install JDK. After doing so, however, I'm then just told, "An error occurred, do you want to read the output file?" If I choose "Yes," an error log opens up with the following info:*

    Buildfile: C:\Users\Kilk1\AppData\Local\Temp\And74A7.tmp\buil d.xml

    BUILD FAILED
    C:\Users\Kilk1\AppData\Local\Temp\And74A7.tmp\buil d.xml:84: Cannot find C:\Users\Kilk1\tools\ant\build.xml imported from C:\Users\Kilk1\AppData\Local\Temp\And74A7.tmp\buil d.xml

    Total time: 0 seconds

What can I do to get the game built? Thanks!

*The original file had my Windows account name, but for privacy reasons, I'm showing "Kilk1" instead.

are you using android studio sdk?

if so they remove the ant builder from it, this error have been mentioned

    https://community.clickteam.com/threads/101342-Users-that-cannot-build-with-Android-Studio-(ant-build-xml-error)

also a patch in under testing if you want to test, to do so run this patch in the android sdk location

    https://drive.google.com/file/d/17AH...ew?usp=sharing

is kind of big since also install sdk manager and old applications (all that is removed with new android studio version)

    let me know your results

I downloaded jdk-8u181-windows-x64 from the following link:

    http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/ja...s-2133151.html

Then, I downloaded AndroidSDKPatch from the link you suggested:

    https://drive.google.com/file/d/17AH...VUkkd-OXM/view

I then installed it to the Android SDK location. However, when I tried to build my game, an error occurred as before with the following information:*

    Buildfile: C:\Users\Kilk1\AppData\Local\Temp\AndE27B.tmp\buil d.xml

    BUILD FAILED
    C:\Users\Kilk1\AppData\Local\Temp\AndE27B.tmp\buil d.xml:84: Cannot find C:\Users\Kilk1\tools\ant\build.xml imported from C:\Users\Kilk1\AppData\Local\Temp\AndE27B.tmp\buil d.xml

Did I do something wrong? Thanks!

*Like before, the original file had my Windows account name, but for privacy reasons, I'm showing "Kilk1" instead.

    Question

Oh, whoops! I was treating Android SDK Tools as if it, not Android Studio, were Android SDK. Because of this, I installed Android Studio, uninstalled Android SDK Tools, and then installed AndroidSDKPatch to Android Studio. After doing this, I tried to build and run my game like before, but the error persisted. Therefore, I downloaded Android SDK Tools again (meaning I now have both Android Studio and Android SDK Tools), but the error remained. I then installed AndroidSDKPatch to Android SDK Tools, but still to no avail.

What would you suggest I do now? In case I got confused at some point during this and made a mistake, should I maybe uninstall everything (everything Android plus jdk-8u181-windows-x64) and start over to make sure we're starting on the same page? Thanks!

Okay, so I uninstalled everything, installed Java (using jdk-8u181-windows-x64) and Android Studio (using android-studio-ide-173.4907809-windows), and then installed AndroidSDKPatch to the Android SDK location. Finally, I went to "Preferences" on Clickteam and set the pathnames to the appropriate directories.

Instead of an error happening which results in info, the game would instead just build indefinitely, neither saying an error occurred nor completing the build. The only way out was to restart the computer, in which case the endless building/loading stops and I'm told it didn't finish building. At one point, I even left for over a half an hour to let it load, but still nothing happened. When I restarted this time, however, I was given information for some reason:*

Well, this doesn't look easy. What should I do? Thanks for the help; I really appreciate it!
