Very nice ! It reminded me too Alien Breed (which has been ported to windows if I am not wrong)
By the way "Darkseed" is my prefered game despite it is an old point and click game. I was so sad when Giger, the designer of the Alien creature, died because that means no Darkseed III on the horizon.

oh yh! I'd completely forgotten about alien breed. I had a demo of that off the from of an amiga magazine.

alien breed wishes it had these effects tho. you've taken it to an all new level
