    Not working on Chrome?

    Hi guys,

I built a game on HTML for a private project, and it says this:

"HTML browsers do not allow you to launch data files directly from the file system.
A drag & drop of the html file on a web-browser window will not work, on any machine.
Please use the Build & Run option (it opens a local web server) to run your application,
or upload your application folder to a remote web-server, and start it from there..."

Is this just me? Or do other people have this error message when running on Chrome?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,

    MrKnd94.

Welcome to the the dev world of internet!
You need to run the html through a web server as it is designed to run from a web server.
Grab NGINX and copy your exported project html folder to the HTML folder you extracted NGINX to and run nginx.exe

your web server should be serving on http://localhost or http://127.0.0.1

To kill nginx just bring up the task manager and end the nginx.exe task

If you didn't copy the html files and folders directly into the html folder then you will need to add the folder path eg: http://localhost/mygame

If you have some website of your own then you can upload the project to this via FTP or the web file upload app provided instead.
