is vector movement supported on free edition?

I am working through the Bermuda Triangle Tutorial with the free version of Fusion 2.5.

The tutorial uses vector movement on the camera object, but I'm not seeing it on my list of movements.
    a) is vector movement available on the free version?
    b) if yes: how do I install it (access it)?
    c) if no: which movement most closely matches?
I tried physics 8 directions. Things did not work according to plan. I've backed out and am re-doing it, but wonder if the movement I chose is the problem. I am very new to fusion and don't have a grasp of all the object settings.

    thanks for reading.

It normally appears under Movement Extensions (where "circular movement" is) but I just installed the free version on top of the normal version I have and it looks like you'd need the full version for it. Luckily there's a couple of ways you can do vector style movement

    1) the easiest way is probably the bouncing ball movement - this allows movement only in 32 directions (and not a full 360░ of movement)

    2) if you're willing to fiddle around a bit (and you understand a bit of vector math), you could 'program' in your own vector movement, but it will take a couple event lines to do.

    Here's and example which I hope makes sense:vector math.mfa
You can left click to start moving/add speed, and right click to slow down

Thank you marbenx! I'll save your example for next time.

I reworked the tutorial and was able to get pretty good movement.
I used the physics 8-direction movement with acceleration, deceleration, and rotation speed all set to zero.
