For me it would help to know what SSH stands for.

    Thanks,

I think droberson is referring to a secure shell extension for Fusion. As far as l know there isn’t an extension for SSH.

Yes aenever that is correct. SSH server and clients can work on Windows, Unix, Linux, PowerPC, Android, MacOS etc... very useful and secure if used properly.
If Fusion 2.5 does not have one I would like to request Clickteam or someone create one.

    Marv,
Secure Shell is a program to log into another computer over a network, to execute commands in a remote machine, and to move/transfer files from one machine to another securely over unsecure networks.

It provides strong authentication and secure communications over insecure channels.

SSH protects a network from attacks such as IP spoofing, IP source routing, and DNS spoofing. An attacker who has managed to take over a network can only force ssh to disconnect. He or she cannot play back the traffic or hijack the connection when encryption is enabled.

When using ssh's slogin (instead of rlogin) the entire login session, including transmission of password, is encrypted; therefore it is almost impossible for an outsider to collect passwords.

A user can use passwords or secure encryption keys to login to systems. Works for Windows, Unix, Linux, MacOS, PowerPC, Android etc... Windows 10 uses OpenSSH or there is a libssh c library. Would be nice to have an extension. Would be able to connect and transfer files to a number of platforms from Fusion 2.5.

If you need this extension, please feel free to request it in the "Paid For" section, I'm sure someone will be able to program it for the right fee. This is not something I think we'll see on Clickteam's roadmap because I think I'm correct in saying you're one of only 2 people to ever request such a feature.
