how i make an player set its position when switching frames?

hello, i want to know how to do that. Because... You know... In every RPG, when you switch rooms the player sets a specific position.

Simplest, and the most basic solution:
    Start of Frame
-> [Active]: Set position at (X,Y)

But if it's different positions for the same frame, then I would probably record those X Y positions possibly by using global values, and load those values you saved right before changing frames.

    Advanced Solution:
    Start of Frame:
-> [Active]: Set X position to Global Value X, -> Set Y Position to Global Value Y

But if the start position is always the same on the next frame, then yea, I would use the simplest one above.

You only need to set the position once. Not always. If it's always position, then of course the player will be stuck there.

Did you use the start of frame condition? It's important to include it, as then it will only run once. Without it, it will continually fix your active to the same co-ordinates. Another handy way to produce the same effect away is to use limit conditions and choose only one action when event loops.
