    TITAN SHIELD


    Titan shield, a great turn based strategy game!
    You lead a party of brave guys into the depths of Titan's hold, hired to rid the world of a great evil, the Titan Bronbok!

    Backstory:
    Originally I developed this game 10 years ago, there was a prequel flash game on the same engine, one of my first works in fusion, which just means its riddled with terrible code , the expansion itself was sitting on my pc for whole 10 years. Not so long ago i dug into my dusty folders and decided to spiff it out with many improvements, and a new artist is on board to streamline some of the outdated graphics.

    Greetings!

    Indeed we are busy on reworking about half of game graphics. Mostly – ingame sprites, interface and some content like map, portaraits, loading screen etc.

    Bad news are – at this stage game still cant be changed completely anyway. Like we wouldn`t touch charectes sprites (each of those have OMFG - knockdown variant!) for example.
    Good news are – I already did about 30% of that visual work. For the thread, here is the example with some gui process:

    I haven't even watched the video but I gotta' admire a guy's balls when they say stuff like "Look at this amazing video"

    Kudos, sir! I wish your project well!



    EDIT: Whoever does your art next you might want to work on having all the objects share the same perspective. For example, your people units are from a direct top down view (you see the tops of their heads and shoulder) but the trees look mostly 'from the side'. The perspective of the house doesn't match the castle walls either.

    I realize this isn't the easiest thing to do correctly, but take it as constructive criticism

    Yeh, you are absolutely right about perspective mismatch thing.
    The problem is - a direct top view is probably the easiest but worst angle to show objects. Character sprites cant be changed because they and there animations are hardcoded now. And for other sprites I`m afraid changing them will be logical but wouldn`t make game better overall now...

    PS:and about that house sprite, yes shouldn`t forget to fix it %)

    Most of the interface work is done and going ingame now. Most of structure remains the same because of old code - just new design and minor blocks adjustments.

    I played beta with nice working menu UI. It really works. I liked turn-based movement. It reminds me some classic game Heroes 3.
    Really nice project. Best of new games from the Click Scene. I highly recommend to continue this project. Keep good going!

    Most of the Ul are new but still in progress. So l expect them to be much more smooth and polished.
