Web View object in Mac runtime

    Hi all,

I have completed the port of my application from Windows to Mac but there is no web view for the mac runtime nor can I figure out a workaround to display a webpage inside my app and evaluate javascript functions.

Is a port of the web view object in the works? Or am I stuck?

Hello, sorry to revive an old thread, I just wanted to see if there was any update to this request. My application uses javascript so I'm not able to port it to Mac without WebView, and Wine is no longer an option without 32-bit support in the OS.

This object was ported to MAC, only know issue is the optical zoom which does not work from MAC, but you still change the optical zoom of your page using a javascript function.

Let me know if you want to test to send you by PM.

Thank you Fernando! I would love to give it a try. I'll be interested to see how some of my more advanced javascripts behave on Mac (for example one of my apps implements ffmpeg in javascript - It's not fast but it works). I fully expect to have to write browser-detecting conditional scripts in order to keep the same code across platforms, hehe.
