Exclamation Randomize values with no repeats

    Hello,

I am trying to make a program where every 3 minutes a song plays for 1 minute (10 songs in total), which I used counters for (so 1-10).
But I do not want any of the songs to repeat themselves, so for example:
When 3 minutes go by, a random song plays for 1 minute, then it stops.
And after that another 3 minutes go by, and another random songs play, but I do not want any of the previous songs to play again.

If anyone could help me with this I would be grateful.

    Thanks in advance,
    Ari

Random pool extension, does exactly what you want.

Otherwise you can create your own pool very simple with list object:

populate list object with 10 songs

randomly select one item in the list, play song, remove it from list.

When list is empty > repopulate

    Thank you for your reply.
I already have the Random Pool extension, but I am having a difficult time using it. It's unclear to me on how it works.

I'd recommend the other suggestion then, using a list. You can then cull lines from the list as they get used, and either populate them into a second list to bring them back in later or you can store those values/strings in a temporary active object which then adds them back into the list after a certain amount of time and gets destroyed after (an ever so slightly more optimized approach).
