    Yes, for the moment it still uses DX9.

    in non-PM mode, applying alpha transparency to a frame does nothing
    in PM mode, applying alpha just multiplies (darkens) the rgb of the frame

    Loving the new 2.5 + I ran into a bug today though. The Hi Score object gets a strange perspective when using - Direct 3D11. It looks like the start to a Star Wars film. Direct 3D9 works fine though.

    Hey guys, I just realized some bugs in my project that are associated with how values of global objects are handled across frames. I'm unsure if the 2.5+ DLC changed something here.
    I think before DLC values of global objects were only passed across frames if the next frame also included this global object. Meaning, if there was a frame in-between, without that global object, its values would be reset to editor default.
    With DLC global objects never seem to reset their values. Maybe I'm just realizing this now, but in case this behaviour was changed a confirmation would be helpful. I'm using a transition frame in some cases that does not contain any objects and was supposed to make sure all object values reset before loading a new layout. That does not seem to work anymore.

    No, the values are preserved even if the global object is not in the frame in between. There is no change in the build 292.

    There are only 2 changes in the build 292 for global objects:

    1. It now saves all the alterable values & strings (the previous versions save only 26/10 alt values & strings).
    2. There was a bug if you use more than 256 global objects in the application (either a crash or the other objects were ignored).
