Active Object behaves differently in frames

In "Melancholy Fight", upon defeating the boss, it will die, and a red gem is created, colliding with it ends the frame. In "Jubilant Fight", there is a yellow gem with identical code, however it seems to create multiple of them, and colliding with the gem does nothing. Some help would be greatly appreciated, as I cannot find out what is different that is messing up this code.
