Steamworks Object - How to check if owned?

Hi, I'm wondering how I use the steam works object to check if the user owns the product or not (ie - its actually on their steam account)

    If yes- all good.
If No - Reverts to trial version.

    You get the idea

Hopefully someone can help. There doesnt seem to be any documentation for the object so wondering if it actually works or not. Maybe I'll just need to make web http calls to steam some other way? Is there a best practice?

    Thanks

Thanks Diogen! However I have no idea how to actually connect to steam in the first place. I can see there is a 'Request User Data' action but it doesn't seem to do anything (I get no response with 'On steam Connected' OR 'On Sream Failed To connect'). Whats the process to connect then check?

    Thanks

As far as I've been able to tell, the Steamworks object won't access Steam data unless the application is run through Steam itself. Make sure you have the right AppID implemented and try running the game through Steam via "Games - Add Non-Steam Game to My Library..."

In the end I've managed to connect to Steam successfully without the need for the Steam Object. I'm just checking the registry to see if they are logged into steam (using this I can also get their user ID) and using the Get Object to communicate with Steam.
