Surface Object collision mask bug when adding backdrop

There's a bug I've run into with Surface object when blitting as a backdrop.
The transparent area becomes an obstacle when the screen scrolls.

Here is a video demonstration of the problem, I have drawn a triangle to a Surface object, and blitted that as a backdrop to the frame.
Note in the video how I am able to collide with the backdrop no problem, but once the screen scrolls and I try to collide with it again, the entire box becomes a collision mask:

I have attached the MFA file of that demonstration to this forum post.

Here is the Gitlab source code of the Surface object: https://github.com/clickteam-plugin/Surface

I hope someone can help, I would honestly pay money to get this issue fixed if necessary.

    Thanks guys,
    Jake

@Yves I noticed that you were the last person to commit to the Surface object source code. Perhaps you are the best person to talk to about this.

I don't know about this bug in particular, but from my experience the Surface object isn't well optimized for Fusion 2.5. Particularly alpha channel operations are much slower than with an earlier version of the object in MMF2. Maybe you could try using an older version of the object to see if it has the bug?
I tried bringing the issues with the object to Yves' attention, and while he acknowledged the issue I was having, I never heard back from him afterwards. I think they only updated the object for basic DX11 compatibility and the rest is low priority because it isn't obviously broken.
