I used child events in the attached file. It works correctly as an exe or in the preview mode but when I exported it as a html5 it seems to freeze as soon as the child event becomes active.I tested this in Firefox Chrome and Internet Explorer and it froze in all cases. I then created a second block of code disabling the child events and replacing them with standard events, which worked perfectly.
In the attached file Line 18-24(currently inactive) contains the child events and causes the freeze in browsers.
Line 25 to 31 contains the exact same events separated and works correctly.
To cause the freeze activate line 18 to 24 and deactivate line 25 to 31. Export to html5. Click on one of the characters in the canoe and then click on the ground on the left to get them to exit the canoe. Then click on a character(on land) and click on the canoe and the character will jump in. If the child event is active the character will freeze just before getting in the canoe.
IMPORTANT NOTE: failed events are child/child events(as in two deep) single level child events seem to work (I'm testing this now)
