I'm not 100% sure if I've brought this one up already or not. I tried to check the bug tracker to see, but unfortunately, it is still down for maintenance. So I'll post it here just in case.

With Mac builds, there is this strange issue where an object won't appear where it is meant to until after the fade in transition is complete if the spawn isn't happening in the initial screen area.

I've created a little demo to showcase this. You can move the plane left and right with the arrow keys. Pressing space kills the current pilot and fades in a new one. In Windows it's fine. You'll see the current pilot die on the spot and a new one spawn in on top of them. On macOS however, you won't see the new pilot until the fade in transition has finished (unless you are all the way to the left of the play area)
