It's not a consistent error - it happens at random. I just checked now, although it happened with objects that have qualifiers yesterday, it's happening with objects that don't have qualifiers today.

It's showing multiselection because it's creating a phantom copy of the image - I can see that when I try to move the object and I've selected it from the sidebar.

It's doing that with several objects - but if I copy them into a new frame / .mfa then the error isn't recreated.

I think I see. Are these objects created in the events too? If so, there is a hidden instance of the object in the frame. You can see it if you select Arrange / Show Create Items in the menu. Probably the hidden instance is selected even if this option is not checked. Not sure if it's intentional or not, I'll check.

No, some of the objects have create events - and some don't. Some are global objects, some are not.

Some are large graphical objects and others are just a single 1 colour square.

They all appear to be active objects and they would all have multiple instances of the same object on other frames - even those that aren't global - there would be multiple instances of a local object with the same name. However, they would be in the exact same x & y values on the other frames - so it's not selecting an object on that "phantom" spot from a different frame.

I have 16 out of 25 active objects on one frame that shows a multi-selection with only 1 copy.

Hmm, could you send me a MFA with some instructions to reproduce the problem?

Actually you were right - all the objects are in the "create events" - when I delete them there, it no longer shows multiselection.

(They're created at start of frame - but then destroyed and created again later - I forgot about that.)

Attached is a mfa. - if you go to the frame editor and click on any of the "Text Selector ..." objects - in the side bar - not in the frame - it shows "multiselection"

Hello, I know I allready ask this but I think it's easy to make:
    Add variables for counter object.

And other thing, possible to set a rotation of backdrop without modifiy the image.

Is it possible for next update ?

    Thanks a lot

Not everyone will agree with you due to the loss of performance. Why you need it?

You can attach counter to some active and store these values in your temp object. The only thing Clickteam could do is add an empty object that contains only values, strings and flags to attach it to other objects.
