I've recently been playing Just Shapes and Beats and wanted to have a go at making a similar style of game myself, but I can't quite figure out how to make a smooth analogue style movement. Basically the square just goes where you point the stick, more than 8 directions and nice and smooth.
What would be the best way to achieve this style of movement? Seems so simple but apparently I can't wrap my brain around it at the moment.
