Question Hide Window while in fullscreen mode makes Windows taskbar disappear.

If I use the Window Control object or the Advanced Tray object to hide my application that is running full screen, it will indeed hide the application, but the Windows taskbar is invisible because, I assume, it thinks it is behind a full-screen application and it doesn't need to be displayed. Does anyone know a solution to this? Is it related to Windows 10 changing the way the taskbar runs?

Also, I need to have Direct3D running, so there is no way for me to change to windowed mode as far as I know.

EDIT: Oh, and this doesn't happen when the game is launched by Fusion, only when a standalone EXE is created.

So as a solution to this problem, I have the game running in windowed mode to start, and change to fullscreen if there is a saved setting indicating fullscreen should be used. Then, right before the tray icon is triggered, I have the game go back into windowed mode first.
