    Any way to make masks?

I have 1 picture that is a living room and a moving fan that is the same picture as the living room but it's animated and is cropped in a smaller box. I want to make the edges of the fan smooth and blend into the background living room picture. any idea on how to do this? or is it not possible in fusion?

If I understand you correctly, you're referring to the transparency masks that some programs let you add to GIFs or 8-bit pngs to fake an anti-aliasing effect by tinting edge pixels with one color. It works OK as long as the background always matches the chosen color.

IMO your best bet is to forget about gifs and/or 8-bit pngs altogether and just use 32bit pngs instead. They have alpha channels which will give you real anti aliasing. They'll be much smoother and will remain smooth on any background.
