Open a file explorer directory in same window possible?

HI, I'm just using 'execute external program' to open a directory. However, each time I execute it (for folders) it opens a new folder in a new File Explorer window. Is there any way to open a folder inside an existing File explorer window?

    Thanks!

This, you cannot. If a duplicate window is open, explorer will bring it to the front. However, by design, you can't control users instances of explorer.exe unless a duplicate is open, you can only issue a command to explorer to open a new window.
