    Question Issues with building an apk file after update

    I haven't used the Android exporter for CF for a while now and I noticed that CF had an update. I followed the new install instructions found here: https://community.clickteam.com/threads/105484-Android-Runtime-Build-292
    but I constantly get an error when trying to build an apk file of my project.

    Here's the log file:

    ************
    FAILURE: Build failed with an exception.

    * Where:
    Build file 'C:\Users\Andréas\AppData\Local\Temp\And422D.tmp\a pp\build.gradle' line: 3

    * What went wrong:
    A problem occurred evaluating project ':app'.
    > Failed to apply plugin [id 'com.android.application']
    > Your project path contains non-ASCII characters. This will most likely cause the build to fail on Windows. Please move your project to a different directory. See http://b.android.com/95744 for details. This warning can be disabled by adding the line 'android.overridePathCheck=true' to gradle.properties file in the project directory.

    * Try:
    Run with --stacktrace option to get the stack trace. Run with --info or --debug option to get more log output. Run with --scan to get full insights.

    * Get more help at https://help.gradle.org

    BUILD FAILED in 1s
    ***********

    I don't get what I did wrong since I followed the instructions precisely.

    Doesn't it say in the error that the problem is the non-ascii character in your path? In your case it's the character é from Andréas that is most likely causing the issue.

    yeah, i read into it. but it's my windows username and it cannot be changed easily. i have to go into regedit and change things around which i really dont wanna do.
    isn't there some way of saving it to another place instead of that place ?
    it's ridicilous that something so stupid is gonna break it.

    Are you sure this isn't happening because you put one of your paths in there? Check your Fusion settings to see where you have your SDK and JDK, and also check where you are building the file before you build it.

    my SDK and JDK are set in different directories and not in the same one as the windows user one.
    plus im building the file in another directory but it still has to create some sort of temporary file under the windows user folder.
    @Fernando , i dunno what you meant by add the flag?
