How do I remove audio files from a project?

So the game I'm making is a copy of another project I made, which had many uncompressed mp3 songs, and these make saving take quite a while, is there a way to remove them from the project entirely? I found them by right clicking the game as a whole, but there is no option to delete them, only to replace them.

As far as I know you cannot remove it with a button press. You have to delete all references to the audio in the event list then save your application. When you open it again the sound file should no longer be there.

In the Event Editor you can right click on the speaker and select - delete any action in this column.

If you want to keep the code you can replace the sounds in the Data Elements with a single small sound file.

(I thought Fusion saved only the changes, not the whole file each time.)

In the Event Editor you can right click on the speaker and select - delete any action in this column.
You also have to delete any conditions and expressions that refer to these sounds.

Also the sounds won't disappear immediately from the list. Save your app, close it and reopen it, the sounds should be gone.

Final note, with Fusion 2.5+ you'll be able to use Find All to hunt down these conditions a lot faster.
