    Build failed with an exception.

I don't quite understand what's going on with the exporter, I've tried switching the version and the API but nothing seems to have worked.
I used API 23 with Android 6.0 as both the targeted and minimum and used Android Studio 3.5.1 (I had APIs 29, 23 and 19 installed)

    This is the log

Edit: Switched over to JDK 8 and I have an entirely different log

What's the Build API in your Android properties? It should be at least 26 with the newest Android SDK's.

The build api should be at least 28. Google will accept 27 until 1 November when they'll only accept 28.

Minimum version for Fusion is 4.0 and Target Android Version 8.1 or 9.0 (We can't go higher, because Fusion won't allow us.)

I figured it out a short while after posting. I was still under the assumption we had to use older API versions or risk errors. Turns out it's the other way around now.
