Question Can I create a flashlight effect for HTML5 games? - Images on post

Hello everybody. I'm LucidWhite, nice to meet you all.

I'm really interested about developing HTML5 games with Clickteam Fusion 2.5 and I was testing with the software a bit because I want to achieve a flashlight effect. If I run the test game from the application it works well but when I export it to HTML5, it's not working as intented.

I've been using layer effects to achieve that. Is there any other way to use lights in HTML5 games using Clickteam Fusion 2.5?

I apologize if this is a duplicated post, but I've been looking on the forums and I couldn't find exactly an answer to my problem.

Thank you in advance, I hope you have a nice day!

Could somebody please help me with this issue?
Because I'm not sure if this engine would be suitable for achieving those kind of effects on the web browser and if not I could keep going using another tool for this specific game I'm working on.

Again, thank you in advance. I hope you have a nice day.

Unfortunately the HTML5 exporter doesn't support effects yet, I attach a possible solution with a big light mask on a layer, not sure if it's what you want.

    Hello Yves,

Thank you so much for answering my question and for taking the time to create that example file.
Yes, I think it will work because it's giving the same effect I was expecting. I guess that's one layer with the light and it always follows the player, right? I didn't think about that.

Do you know if there's any plans in the future to improve the HTML5 exporter?

I hope you have a nice day.
