    Events not working after player "Respawns"

    So I have created a little play area with a character that the player controls. I have made events to allow the player to fly like hes wearing a jetpack. However once the character dies and "respawns". The event doesn't work correctly. Instead he just hops on the spot instead of flying.

    I can't figure out why this is the case, and would greatly appreciate any solutions.

    I have attached my mfa file for testing purposes.

    I found two solutions so far:
    -It works when instead of destroying and respawning character, you simply teleport him to new position.
    -It works when you set his movement gravity to 0 during "jetpacking". Honestly, I think this is the problem.

    ok, so how would I have his gravity set to 0 while using the "jetpack".

    Edit: actually the teleporting works fine, thank you.

    Add "movement -> set gravity to 0" when user is holding "Q" button.

    Set gravity to normal value when user is not holding Q button.
