Err, that doesn't correspond to the log you showed in the previous post... This one has no useful information.

    In case this is fixable:

I've noticed that Fusion saves slow down as it remains open... despite saving every few minutes (I have to - the electricity can go off without warning.)

It will start at about 23 seconds to save a 16 876 kb file - and ends up at close to 2 minutes to save as the day goes on - and every time I'm just changing one or two values.

The .tmp file is created almost immediately the green bar will move up to a point - then it hangs, says Fusion is unresponsive in Task Manager, stays in that state for a while - and then finishes the task in seconds.

It might be linked to the process I'm doing - which is building an .apk - testing a level - changing a value - and repeat. But the time it takes to build the .apk, after the initial build, stays the same - it takes about 50 seconds to build the .apk it takes 4 to 5 seconds from the time the .apk is built for Fusion to become responsive again.

It might be linked to the size of the Open JDK binary - which fluctuates a lot - from 62.mb up to 770.2mb - but I started noticing this save lag before I started building this many .apk's - i.e. when I was still working on the game.

On a possibly related note to Janette's post above, I've noticed that the speed of saving/loading a file is very dependent on the other files that are open in Fusion. So if you open Fusion and load a 1MB file it's very quick, but if you already have a 200MB MFA open, then load the 1MB file, it feels about as slow as if you were loading another 200MB file.

I don't see the logo next to your avatar (though it has been known to disappear randomly from users' profiles sometimes). If you don't own it, perhaps consider getting it, as I believe MFA save/load times were one of the included improvements (so it's possible that the fix you're asking for has been already implemented, but was sufficiently complex that Clickteam reserved it for )

I just timed my MFA, and my 223,159kb file takes about 2 seconds to save. I haven't noticed any slowdown throughout the day (I guess I probably wouldn't notice if it went up 50-100% to 3 or 4 seconds, but I certainly would have noticed if it was increasing fivefold as you're describing.

I'll note that my physical drive is very quick - I regularly work on 1GB+ Photoshop files, so investing in a Samsung M.2 SSD eventually became essential for my sanity. But even with a regular SSD or even an HDD, I don't think my save times would get anywhere near ~2 mins for 16MB since I got 2.5+.

(If you already use 2.5+ but just haven't got the icon showing, then ignore this post)

I only had that one file open in Fusion. And also tested it by closing everything else open on my pc and ending all unnecessary tasks in task manager - that made only a 5 second difference.

I'm confused enough by Fusion - I haven't had the courage / desire to add additional confusion to my use of Fusion ... (uh, modules, features ... you know ... more stuff to know, more stuff going wrong ... more stuff to work around... )

has definitely decreased my level of confusion. If only for being able to give custom names and icons to qualifiers, so can know exactly what they are when I look at them without second-guessing. Plus global events are way less confusing now: you can easily reach them, you can use qualifiers as normal in them, and you can actually see your altVal names in them instead of wondering what Alterable Value E and Alterable Value F are. Overall, I suspect is likely to make your life easier, not harder.

The only things about that may confuse you are child events, Alterable Strings on Strings, and Alterable Values on Counters, but these are all MASSIVE quality of life improvements that have made my life oh so much better.

Following up my previous post, I can not confirm issues with object scoping in my project. The reported bugs were something I messed up myself with the last update.

Okay, I uploaded a blank new test project that only has a platform object with crouch animation. Same result when pressing down. This is the error I get in Chrome's console:

    Exactly my opinion.
Fusion feels way more clear and friendly to use now!

OK thanks! This will be fixed in the next update. I attach a temporay fix in the meantime, to unzip to data/runtime/html5.
