I'm having a bit of trouble with a project. I'm doing a castlevania-esque engine. And I'm having some problems with jumping attacks. I can make it but it clashes with my jumping setup.
Jumping mechanic works something like this: If left or right is not held you jump up, if right is held in and you press the jump button, you jump to the right, same with left.
Now, adding the jumping attack ontop of that is a bit problematic for me, it works well if you jump straight up, but if you press the attack button when jumping left or right you just fall downward instead of continuing moving left or right when jumping.
