Question Test App (When pressing F7/F8) does not pick up data from ini files

    Hi Clickteam Devs!

Previously, if I wanted to test my app that uses ini files as the source of text for some dialogues,
the "quick-test app" (generated by the program when F7/F8 is pressed) could also use these - provided that they were in the same folder.
(As I see under Task Manager, these "quick-test apps" are generated under C:\Program Files (x86)\Clickteam Fusion 2.5\Data\Runtime\Unicode)

It's been a while now, but after one of the updates, this function ceased to exist.
Even if the ini files are copied to the same location as the "quick-test app" (this is the way my code looks for them),
they are not "seen". Only the full, built app "sees" the data of the ini files. This makes app testing a bit complicated,
as I always have to be built the full app first (which takes a lot of time compared to the quick frame/app test with F7/F8),
before I could test my coding.

Any possibility to get this feature back?
Or is there a workaround at least?

Thanks a lot for your help.

If you have the option ticked: Create Ini file in application data folder - then it will create the ini file under: c:\users\YourName\Appdata\Roaming\MMFApplications - and you can use it from there under test conditions - running from frame etc.

It will create the test and final build in that folder - with that option ticked.

(And it's been like that since I started using Fusion...)
