Split screen so you can run 2 apps at the same time?

Hey again! This will be my last question. Will it be possible to have a widget function (a small window in front of the app)? Or is it possible two somehow split the screen so you can have 2 different apps open at the same time? It would help me a lot for what I'm doing :-)

You could try to use Sub-Applications.

Check this post, there are some interesting infos about it and a split screen prototype I made.
I think it's the best method for complex split screen with scrolling, I managed to make a 4 players platform game with scrolling and parallax layers from this.

Hi, as far as I know after some test : sub-app don't work well on Android, and none of the splitscreen examples I have tested were working... @shar nek : have you tested your game on Android ?

No idea about android, I only tested it on windows, sorry. Also I'm not sure if the Associative Array object I use for communicating between sub apps is android compatible. Let me know the results if you try it on android.

Thanks for answering. I'm sorry I wasn't totally clear on this. I was wondering if you could have a ckickteam app in a splitscreen with a completely different app (not made in fusion) i would like to be able to use 2 different apps simultaneously. :-)
