    Mouse Moving/Not Moving check?

    Hello, I was wondering if there is some way to properly make an event that checks if the mouse is moving or not? I came close, with an "every 15/100 of a second, set (VariableA) to Xmouse, same for Ymouse", but this raises the problem that every 15/100 of a second, the variable flickers for a brief moment to not moving.

    Is there a better way to do this? All it needs to do is make the cursor blue while the mouse is still, but turn pink while it's moving, never turning blue while doing so.

    Thanks for any help!

    Create a new active object. It doesn't matter what size or anything because it won't be visible. Name it ("mousefollow" in this example) then give it 2 values and a flag:

    value "x old"
    value "y old"
    flag "is moving"

    Then, put this event in your editor:

    Always
    -> set x old to x ("mousefollow")
    -> set y old to y("mousefollow")
    ->set flag "is moving" OFF
    -> set x position of "mouse follow" to xmouse
    -> set y position of "mouse follow" to ymouse

    and these final two events to check for change in position:

    "x old" <> x ("mousefollow")?
    -> set "is moving" ON

    "y old" <> y ("mousefollow")?
    -> set "is moving" ON

    now, the flag "is moving" will only be on while your mouse is moving.
